Job Purpose and Impact

Engage/Educate/Execute:  The K-12 Analyst dedicated resource will assist in the tactical execution of the K-12 sales strategy.  Responsibilities include managing daily communications, cascading important information within Acxion and to our customers, and being a point person for training, food show planning, information sharing, and bids.

Key Accountabilities

• Communication – This role will be the primary point of contact for sales, marketing and business managers to ensure product and program information is cascaded throughout Acxion and to our customers.  This individual will provide regular feedback and recommendations on tools and resources needed to drive sales and growth in the K-12 segment.
• Problem Solving - This role will independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Product Knowledge – This role will serve as the primary training resource for K-12 products for all Acxion sales representatives.
• Bids and Pricing– This role will support the bid process, facilitating the transfer of information to and from customers and sales team, tracking wins and losses on bids, and communications regarding commodity drawdown opportunities.
• Food Shows – This role will be the conduit for all food show participation and product focus, ensuring that recommended show sets are followed. 
• Customer Insights – This role will collect and report customer wishes, pain points, and competitive intelligence to keep our sales, marketing and business teams updated on current issues and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with K-12 foodservice sales
• Knowledge of the commodity bid process and K-12 sales cycle
• Proven written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships virtually
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools and other required USDA commodity databases
